Fascinating Brooklyn Heights Food and History Tour

Overview
Join Alex on a Brooklyn Heights walking tour and learn the history of America’s first suburb. We’ll discuss the area’s past, from Dutch farmland to one of New York’s most exclusive neighborhoods, and its close relationship to the history of transportation in NYC. The tour visits Brooklyn’s Civic Center, 19th century churches, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Brooklyn Bridge, and Fulton Ferry Landing. If time allows, we may even stop at a few celebrity mansions along the way!!

But this isn’t just a walking tour; it’s a Brooklyn food tour also! We’ll enjoy great treats from several local businesses, including sandwiches from a classic Jewish/Italian deli, snacks from a 125 year old Lebanese market, pizza from an iconic NYC pizzeria, and Brooklyn’s best ice cream.

Our Private Food and History Tours are one of a kind NYC experiences. Perfect for anyone looking to see New York’s food and history in a new way!

Alex was super knowledgeable, yet fun and casual about the whole experience. I highly recommend the Brooklyn Heights tour, and can't wait to try another one of FoodStrolls' tours ASAP.

NYC has so much interesting history and I think this is the best way to experience it. It was such a lovely walk around a beautiful and historic part of town in Brooklyn Heights. Alex was the perfect tour guide. And of course, pizza.
