Overview

I am a long time local and guide who has worked with thousands of people. This experience is meeting up with me to learn something about the area and check in with where you are at and offer a series of mindfulness prompts to do on a trail you pick.I do not go with you as a hiking guide.We use Whats app to stay in touch and I also offer local tips, hiking suggestions and answer questions about the area. I'm basically an expert guide in your pocket.
I would say this experience is best for the person who really wants to slow down and find a connection with the land.
It can also be a good value for the right person as hiking tours can start at $150. It may not be a fit for the person who wants an entertainment experience( try my Uptown Scavenger hunt for a fast paced fun adventure) or who is just coming along for the ride.Because its something new, slow and introspective the grumpy relative or friend with you won't be a good fit.There is a lot of magic in the red rocks.

Tara’s guidance and scavenger hunt experiences made my first visit to Sedona memorable beyond measure. I came to this magical place open to possibilities and desiring a deeper connection to nature, but uncertain of where to go and what to do. Tara and her suggestions were on point and exactly what I needed. My prescribed journey cultivated both adventure and mindfulness. The venture brought me closer to Earth Mama and to myself. Tera was kind and engaging - we did the mindfulness option as opposed to a scavenger hunt that she also offers. We met with her and learned quite a lot so out the geography and history of the area. She provided us with excellent instructions as to where to go and a long list of ideas of how to better engage with the land and deepen our experience. The reason for the four stars is simply the price per person for what we received. It seemed a bit much, but I am still very grateful for the experience!

I really enjoyed meeting your lovely group and am grateful for the opportunity to be part of your Sedona experience..It is true that the meet up is just part of the value.. when you send the photos,videos and audio files on the mission sheet on whats app it creates a collaborative experience between me as the game designer and host ,Sedona itself and you the guests that does add signifigant value to this experience. It allows me to engage based on each persons impressions and experiences and expand on those impressions.Often I tell specific stories on your spirit animals but i need to know what they are to do so. i do agree when you skip that that there is not as much value in this experience and recommend to future guests to trust in the process for best results. It is my goal to provide a good value to my guests.

I enjoyed the thrill of this adventure up the mountain immensely. It was punctuated with an enduring theme of "trusting the process" and "going with the flow", led by self-discovery and awareness. At the end of the adventure, I felt elated, engaged, and enlightened. I've integrated a piece of Sedona within myself me that will indelibly and intricately always be a piece of "me"!! I highly recommend the adventure for those on the spiritual path of self-discovery / self-empowerment! Thank you, Tara!
