Effective Monday, February 28, the Field Museum will drop the requirement to show proof of vaccine to enter. Additionally, masks are suggested but not mandatory for Museum entrance. This policy is in alignment with the City of Chicago.

Visit our newly renovated Dinosaur Hall -- Evolving Planet -- where giant sloths, woolly mammoths and dinosaurs all mingle! Located on Chicago’s Museum Campus, The Field Museum also has dining facilities, performance opportunities and an unbeatable view of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s downtown skyline. The Field Museum is an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

You need to allow at least half a day to see everything on offer here. The museum exhibits and very informative and laid out in such a way that you can take in all the information as you move through history. Very well done and caters well for children of all ages. Highly recommended.

Lots to see and do. Definitely an all day event. Don't rush around. There's something for everyone. Good educational opportunities for young and old.

This museum is good if you are into animals and bugs. Has some great and interesting exhibits, even including a section dedicated to beer brewing in Chicago. Worth the visit.
