The Flaming Gorge Tour I went on provided by Sweetwater Travel and Tourism was amazing! It was a very enjoyable day. The bus ride was comfortable, we stopped at many areas to view different things and learn about the area. Our Tour guide was Lucy and she had wonderful information and stories. The entire experience was outstanding and I would most definitely recommend it and will most likely do it again.

This was the most enjoyable tour that I have ever been on. We started our tour in Rock Springs and headed South on 191. There were a few look out areas that you could stop at, plus along our way we stopped at the Flaming Gorge Resort and ate lunch, which was great. There was also a gift shop beside the restaurant where you could buy souvenirs. You can even rent a cabin to stay in for a few days if desired. After lunch we continued on our tour then stopped at Red Canyon Lodge Overlook, which is very beautiful overlook area of the gorge. Our stop was at Buckboard Marina on the Wyoming side of the gorge. At Buckboard Marina you are able to rent, if available, a boat house or a boat. After a full day's tour, we ended our day back in Rock Springs. If you were to take this bus tour around the Flaming Gorge, you would enjoy yourselves especially with Lucy as your tour guide. She is very informative about the area around the Flaming Gorge, and she made everyone feel so comfortable that they could ask her anything about the Flaming Gorge. I would like to conclude that the Flaming Gorge is a very popular camping, boating and fishing spot for all ages.

This tour was one of the best ones we have been on when visiting an area. We are locals who wanted to show the importance of the area to our 9 year old Grandson. It was fun, interactive and really showcases the importance of the Gorge to the Southwest. We learned about the geological and historical importance, the wildlife in the area, the water and experienced the beauty of the area. This tour even held the attention of our Grandson. I would highly recommend this tour to you if you are interested in learning about this area of the world by an expert tour guide.
