Florida Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour | Haulover canal (Titusville)

Overview
Florida bioluminescence is the #1 kayaking trip in the Orlando, Cocoa beach area. We are located about an hour from Universal Studios and The Walt Disney world area theme parks. Our "tourist tours or "visitor tours", as the locals would call them, are ideal for a romantic evening on the water or an expedition in the name of science with the little ones (as long as they are over 5yrs of age). Our tour guides will guide you through the Indian River lagoon and show you something truly magical as we make our way through mangrove trails and the shallow flats of the lagoon.

We will spend a leisurely 90 mins on the water during this tour. You may want to leave the camera at home for this excursion, as the bioluminescence is very hard to photograph unless you have professional equipment.

This was well worth the money and Guy, the tour guide, was great. He was very knowledgeable in the plant and wildlife in the area. Thanks Guy for a great experience. We will have to return in the SummerTip for someone new...make sure you arrive 30 minutes early. You will most likely be turned away if you arrive at the same time as the tour start time. Its not fair for the others on the tour to have to reduce their time on the tour because you werent there. Use the link to find the location for the tour. Titusville tour is on the wildlife refuge several miles in. Not in the middle of town as Google would make you think. Follow the link with your verification email.

Kayak experience was very good, however, TripAdvisor nearly ruined it. They send you their own version of the confirmation information which leaves off the critical detail to arrive 30 minutes early for orientation and the hard cut off to join the tour is 15 minutes prior. We blissfully waited in our car until 10 minutes before 9 PM and were told we were too late and to call to reschedule. Fortunately they had a later tour that night and it all worked out. The confirmation we received for the reschedule directly from the vendor had the cut off times. Either TripAdvisor needs to update, or the vendor needs to start the orientation at the published tour time (move published time up 30 minutes).

I cannot give this experience enough stars. Guy was our tour guide and he is INCREDIBLE! I have never been on a better guided tour. Guy was an absolute sweetheart to put up with our crazy group and answer all of our questions. Not only did he provide lots of information in a really interesting way, but he also got some fantastic photos of our group that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Guy is the bomb dot com. Now to the tour. WOW. I am a huge wildlife fan and this experience of being up close and personal in one of the most biodiverse refuges on earth was like a dream come true. We got to see dolphins, manatees, and several types of birds during the sunset part of the tour. After dark, however, we got to experience one of the most magical things I have ever seen. The bioluminescent algae was beyond words. It was like kayaking through the stardust that we could see so clearly in the sky. Unbelievably beautiful. With that I will sum up that this is an absolute must do adventure! I cannot recommend this enough!
