Reservation date and time required. Tours leave every 30 minutes from 9:30am to 3:30pm
Any age child can enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under are free. It is not necessary to purchase a ticket for ages 3 years and under.
Tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour due to inclement weather
If you have selected the 4 p.m. time please note that it is a check in time only and that your airboat adventure will be leaving the dock at 5 p.m. so that you have ample time to explore the exhibit areas before they close at 5 p.m.

What To Expect

Sawgrass Recreation Park

Skim across the grassy water at speeds up to 40 miles per hour while looking for wildlife like alligators, fish, turtles, and wading birds. This general admission ticket includes entrance to Sawgrass Recreation Park, a 30-40 minute guided airboat tour and an admission to our Alligator & Reptile Exhibit. Just 25 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, the safest and most entertaining and educational way to experience the Everglades’ unique subtropical ecosystem is at Sawgrass Recreation Park.

Nice way to take a short trip in the Everglades on an airboat. We were able to see a few alligators and had a great ride. Captain Bob is the best!

This is the BEST of the air boat rides we've tried! The family-run (and family-friendly) staff excel at making this a truly enjoyable adventure. We had the pleasure of treating our children and grandchild to this event. The "recent" reviews reflect our favorable experience: Heather (ticketing) made it so easy to sign-in and get our wrist bands. Captain Bob zoomed us around to see the 'gators, bird life, and "other critters." He's a wealth of knowledge and LOTS of FUN! Reptile exhibit specialist Nick, walked us through the exhibit of reptiles, ending with our grandchild's petting a baby alligator (he promised to tease his older brother in college about missing this fun!) We were very welcomed! (If you are a Florida resident, mention this while visiting!) We'll do this again with other guests.

Well run and reasonably priced. Friendly staff! The airboat ride was fun, the animal exibit was an unexpected suprise. No upcharges. The lady at the gift shop gave my kids gator teeth which was so sweet. My kids got to pet a baby gator for free. The gift shop was affordable. The online pictures and descriptions were accurate. The food truck guy gave us a replacement chicken tender when a bird flew away with one ... overall the staff was kind and customer service was important to them. Would recommend.
