Your day begins with a 30-minute or 1-hour or airboat tour deep into the 4,200 acres (1,699 hectares) of protected swamps, marshes and rivers that make up the Central Florida Everglades. Your US Coast Guard captain will give you an in-depth look at the gators, birds, eagles, trees and plants that make up these beautiful wetlands. We took our toddler on the half hour airboat tour. They provided an appropriate fitting life vest for her and hearing protection. 30 minutes was the perfect amount of time for the tour since our child is pretty wiggly and would have a hard time sitting on the boat much longer. We also really enjoyed the small wild life park they had. We watched a close up animal show and alligator feeding. All of the animals seemed well cared for. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, whether they had small children or not.

We visited Wild Florida on a recommendation and are SO glad we went. It was a fabulous day out, could not be faulted. The airboat trip was an ambition fulfilled and didn't disappoint. I now just want to go again! Captain Jeff was a really entertaining host. So far it's been the highlight of our trip to Florida and I doubt it will be topped. If you're considering a visit, don't consider it any longer, just book it!
