Back from our experience, how to say HORRIBLE! Let's start at the beginning, the email received to confirm the Reservation with a not at all clear explanation of the meeting place. More than half an hour to find the Check-out. An email stating that we must arrive right on time otherwise they leave without us and there will be no way to find them. We start on time, the Guide has decided otherwise and we leave instead of 11am to 12:45pm. Still happy that they say not to eat before because we will eat a lot. In short at 1pm not having lunch as recommended we are hungry... We leave for Brooklyn where we will walk another hour before stopping at a kind of bakery to buy our dessert before buying our dish. The bakery offers only foods with cream and 35 degrees outside, hello the break of the cold chain. We make our second stop a little further to buy the dish which like the bakery is not included in the Award of the excursion... We finally make the stop in an urban space where reigns a dirty smell to finally eat at 3pm. None of the purchased products are hot for the main course or cold for dessert. Let’s not even talk about the rest of the tour which was what was more is catastrophic. Now let’s talk about the “Guide” a man whose name I won’t name but whose first name begins with “C” an unpleasant, unsympathetic man who thinks he is supervising a group of 5-year-olds. We get yelled at about the use of our mobile phones which serve us both to send live photos to our families but also and above all to translate what the Guide says since our English is not good enough. I will conclude my review by advising you to RUN AWAY AT ALL SPEED this excursion caught tourist and prepare your wallet because the day will cost you a bridge!

La visite n’a jamais été programmée pour commencer à 12h45. Répétons-le puisqu’ils utilisaient des majuscules : JAMAIS ! C’était une visite à 11 heures du matin et la veille de l’envoi d’une notification, il y aurait un départ retardé de quinze minutes. C’est quinze minutes, pas presque deux heures. Tout le monde peut consulter notre site Web dès maintenant et voir que cette visite est répertoriée dans les autres semaines à 11h car il s’agit d’une visite de 11h. Il s’agit d’une visite de la plage très différente que nous n’organisons que 3 à 4 fois par été. La visite est en anglais et les gens ont la possibilité d’utiliser Google translate, ce que nous ne pensons pas qu’ils aient fait, mais cela aurait été utile. Encore une fois, cette visite est une expérience très différente de toutes nos autres visites et si un client ne lit pas à ce sujet, il peut être déçu car il est unique. Nous attendons de nos clients qu’ils lisent tout pour que cela n’arrive pas. Nous sommes l’une des expériences les plus authentiques de New York. Nous avons des clients qui reviennent chez nous presque chaque année. Si vous lisez ceci et pensez que vous ne faites pas de visite à cause de cette critique, n’oubliez pas que nous faisons des visites depuis quinze ans. Au cours de ces quinze années, nous avons moins de quatre-vingt-dix avis avec une note de 1, soit moins de six par an ou un tous les deux mois en moyenne avec des dizaines de milliers de clients, tandis que nous avons plus de trois mille avis sur cette plate-forme avec une note de 5 et nous fournissons des recommandations de restaurants impartiales pour aider nos clients pour le reste de leur voyage. Encore une fois, nous sommes désolés que cet invité ait été mécontent, mais la plupart de cela aurait pu être évité s’il avait lu sur la visite avant et prêté attention aux notifications. We couldn't wait to start this tour. The guide is very friendly and easy to approach. The pace of walking is strong; we visited 5 different squares. These 5 places were charming, probably restaurants we would never have visited if it wasn't for our guide: all were delicious! The guide told us the right amount to order to avoid having a full stomach for the next stops. The meals were diverse, and introduced us to typical dishes for a fraction of the usual price of large chains. We even got a little history of the neighborhood and shops. This is an activity I highly recommend, especially at the beginning of the trip.

Nice experience, between food and some curiosities about the neighborhood, also very well organized which is essential considering how it takes place. There is little walking, the intervals are right and the timing is adequate. Some places serve amazing food (I'll remember the Grandma style pizza forever), while others are quaint but the food isn't that crazy. To do as an experience, it's worth it
