Our family of 4 had a great walking food tour with Corey yesterday. We visited 5 places near Penn Station and in Hell's Kitchen: 3 savory and two sweet (though it would have been possible to get savory choices at the two bakeries also...). Corey was engaging, entertaining, friendly, and ably corralled and herded our tour group of 27 around city streets, on and off the metro, and into several very cozy hole in the wall establishments. It was a particularly cold day, and Corey made sure no one had to stand around in the cold longer than was strictly necessary. We appreciated the ability to make our own food choices and buy exactly what and how much we wanted at each stop. We also liked that Corey encouraged everyone in the group to chat with one another. We had a very interesting, international group, and it was fun to meet some of the other travelers and hear what they'd been up to in NYC. Lastly, we appreciated Corey's additional restaurant recommendations that he gave after the tour for anyone who was interested. This evening we had dinner at one of the recommended places, and it was excellent! We never would've found it without Corey's suggestion, so we felt like the food tour we took had value beyond just the few hours of the tour itself. Thanks Corey! We'd recommend your tours to visitors any day.

Thank you so much. Your review validates what we do and notes several reasons why a Food On Foot Tour is different from any other standard food tour. We offer our guests a choice. You are welcome to get a ticket with food included or pay-as-you-go but either way YOU are making your own choices at each stop. We think that is hugely important. After all, why would you want to eat something you don't like or something that is not your first choice? And thank you for loving the restaurant recommendations and loving the restaurant you went to. We really care about our guests for their whole trip, not just on the tour. We love to help our guests eat great and save money for their entire vacation. A big part of coming to NY is experiencing its amazing diverse foods. We are glad you did!

Tour was fabulous! Corey took us to places we’d never have gone to otherwise- local spots with delicious food- pizza, tacos, sandwiches and sweets- fantastic! He was friendly and gave us some great recommendations for similar places to eat out in! Not fancy but places real New Yorkers might go which are good value and delicious! Would highly recommend!!

Our host was passionate about real New York street food. Educational and fun. Could be more professional with meeting point arrangements - had trouble finding him and nearly missed the tour and would have forfeited the cost.

In addition we remind all our guests in a pre-tour e-mail about all these options.
