so glad we added this to our trip, well worth the time and money. Our guide was excellent, very friendly, enthusiastic and well informed. Drove through magnificent scenery. Lookout mountain was interesting with stunning views. There was a little museum but we didn't have time to go in ( would have preferred to miss out stop in evergreen in exchange for more time at lookout) Highlight of the tour has to be the amphitheatre, absolutely amazing!

The Denver Foothills Tour was excellent and our guide, Ben, was great! We were picked up at the Convention Center in front of the Big, Blue Bear (certainly easy to find). The tour was extremely interesting and informational. We visited the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheater, a lake near the town of Evergreen, scenic Lookout Mountain and the town of Golden. Ben's knowledge of the area was fantastic and definitely made the tour the best it could be. We could have spent another few hours exploring the area with Ben as our guide. (Suggestion for future tours: include a stop in the town of Evergreen. It looked like such an interesting place and we would have loved to explore.)

We had light rain for most of the four hours and a few sprinkles of snow in Evergreen but it was still a very worthwhile way for a quick overview of the Rocky foothills. We also managed to learn more about Denver as we passed by buildings on the way to and from the main parts of the tour. Jed our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the history and natural elements of the area which he obviously is very interested in. We felt lucky to have had him.as our guide.
