Drive the scenic route into the Red Rocks park with its impressive rock formations. Enjoy exploring one of the most iconic music venues in the world.

Lookout Mountain

Get a fantastic view of downtown Denver to the East and the Rocky Mountains to the West. The summit was used as a lookout point by the Ute tribe and it is the resting place for famous Buffalo Bill.

Optional walk to the grave site

Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway

Drive down parts of the national Scenic Byway into Golden with fantastic views over the Rocky Mountains and the plains.

Stop in the charming Western Town of Golden. Options to walk along crystal clear Clear Creek, grab a quick bite, coffee or beer, or visit one of the many cool shops on the main strip. We have plenty of recommendations for you.

This was an amazing experience! Jerry was very well versed in telling the story from a geological, cultural and historical perspective.

Steve was a great guide but we were unable to exit the vehicle until he walked around to the side. No problem on the trip but in an accident....???. I know this increased his chances of tips at the end as no one could 'escape' until he opened the door but it is a serious situation.

Hello Noel, This is certainly an interesting feedback and we are certainly sorry you felt this way. We shared your comments with the guide as well. Based on his feedback we came to the conclusion that this must have been an isolated incident. He likes to open the door for people but there is the option to open it yourself from inside. Great tour to get to know Denver surrounding, the Red Rocks Amfitheatre is a must visit spot along with view of the mountains , some wild life and history . The driver was very helpful, knowledgeable.
