We are the Official Trolley Tours for the City of Fredericksburg, Texas.Tours are led by local historians and expert members of the community. Tours are fun, fact filled, and offer an opportunity to explore some areas that most tourists don't have time to see. Our German history is highlighted in our narrative and by viewing local landmarks of historic value. Fredericksburg has over 399 remaining historic structures within our district, many of which you will view from the large windows of the Trolley. This tour highlights our cultural offerings, old town, things to do, and early Texas - German ties that make Fredericksburg one of the top ranked places to visit in the United States!
This tour is also offered as a PRIVATE TOUR AVAILABLE for 8+ people and can be booked any day of the week as a private tour. Please be aware that for less than 8 passengers this tour may take place in our luxury mini-coach.

St. Mary's Catholic Church

One of the famous "Seven Painted Church of Texas", this beautiful historic structure will be highlighted by a brief tour of the stunning interior of the church (subject to availability)

Be aware that you might not get the nice trolly advertised. When our "trolly" arrived it was actually a large blue van. Very disappointing. Hard to take pictures from a window that wont open, and has a mirror like tint. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because our tour guide, Dave, was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the history of all the places we saw, and made the tour fun.

Thank you for the compliments on Dave. We know that the Trolley is a special part of each tour, and it is never our intent to have to substitute a vehicle. But when there is an issue with our vehicle that may compromise your safety our policy states that rather than cancel your tour entirely we will substitute a vehicle so that the tour can take place. We do our best to inform our guests and allow them to reschedule or refund if they do not wish to proceed. Thank you for your review.

We were fortunate to catch the tour just before it left. Dave was the driver/narrator and he was awesome with his knowledge of the sites that we visited. We never felt rushed to get back on the trolley if we had gotten off to visit a site. The tour is well worth the time and the cost.

Dave, out tur guide was outstanding with broad knowledge of the Hill Country, Fredericksburg, the settlement and architecture of the buildings. Highly recommend, especially if Dave is the guide.
