What To Expect

Fredericksburg Visitor Information Center

You will check in to board the trolley at the Visitor Center. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure. There is free parking in the parking lot behind the building.

Great afternoon of Wine Tasting! Had a great time visiting three different wine tasting locations. Met some very nice people on the wine tour & enjoyed all three different wine tasting locations. Stopped and had Lunch at Burg's Corner, very nice lunch stop with a variety of unique items to shop for! Overall a very fun day!

This tour met the minimum without any extras that would allow for a higher rating. Clean comfortable transportation to 3 winerys but no extra knowledge for the history of the area offered by the tour guide. Lunch was just a basic sandwich, a bag of chips and a water.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate that you noted your transportation was clean and comfortable for your day. We plan for our guests to have multiple food options and we encourage our guests to make their own choices from the available menus. Your lunch at a local restaurant included chef prepared soups, salads and sandwiches, fresh baked desserts (usually home-made cookies or similar) that are complimentary with every menu choice as well as soft drinks, beer and wine. Our guest comments are important to us, we will present your comments at our next team meeting.

Adrian was really nice and very accommodating. The locations we visited were okay. The first at 290 wine castle was a bit of a let down. We were tucked away into a nook, and not given much attention. The second location Longhorn Cellars the one guy on staff had us sit at the bar due to being short staff. But he was knowledgeable and great fun. The third location was the best! Slate Mill Wine Collective the tour was fantastic and the guide we had knew SO MUCH! Highly suggest this location. Adrian himself was very nice and especially the last location let us take plenty of time.
