Overview

Enjoy an immersive all-inclusive carefree day as you travel on our vintage open-air Cable Car or luxury limo bus! Our guides are trained on the wine and the history of the area. They will be with you all day long to help explain the wines, the experience, and show you the insider’s way through each winery.

The tour lasts five hours with lunch and all wine tastings provided. We decide our itineraries a day before the tour based on availability.

*Even though we limit our numbers to 6 per booking, this is a public tour that includes up to 25 people on the vehicle.*

What To Expect

We'll begin the tour in Marktplatz von Fredericksburg, a city park located right in the center of town. From there, we'll explore the historic downtown and amazing wineries and vineyards. Locations of tastings vary daily. Call or email to see our itinerary for the following day.

My husband and I booked a tour for a Monday and we were picked up by Ally, in a comfortable Mercedes van. There were 3 other couples that joined us. We stopped at Wedding Oak, Slate Theory and Texas Wine Collective. Each place had a great and different type of experience. Wedding Oak was a nice, sit down tasting with in depth explanations of the wines that we tasted and our lunch. Everything was great! Including lunch. We bought 3 bottles of wine there. Slate Theory was a production tour, which was very educational and interesting. We learned a lot and got to try some very good wines with very unique names. The tasting rooms were absolutely beautiful, each with a completely different style and chandelier. We also got to see the production floor. We got 2 bottles there. The Texas Wine Collective was a nice variety, with 3 different flight options. They had a combination of the 3 wineries served there. Our server was great and had a good sense of humor. 3 bottles there. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the places we went, the company and our wonderful hostess/designated driver. Thank you so much Ally! We couldn't have had a better experience.

It would have been fun if it wasn’t cold rainy and windy that day and the people at the the edge winery weren’t that great the wine tasting seemed like a waste of time the Tour guide was amazing tried to give us the best experience considering the bad weather.

Our guide was great and made the experience fun. We visited 3 winery’s. The first one felt like they weren’t prepared for such a large group. We spent a lot of time there and it felt like it was too much. The second winery(TWC) was great! All of us on the tour felt like we should have been there the longest. Great wines, knowledgeable staff and they made us feel welcomed. The third stop seemed not prepared for our group. It was more like a bar serving wine with not enough staff. Overall it was a great experience for our first tour. We will definitely do it again.
