Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

I've taken these small group tours in cities all over the country as well as in Europe, and I can say that there's nothing better than having a history teacher be your tour guide! Darcy did a great job in explaining all the sites and managing a group with widely varying levels of mobility. We had beautiful weather for our walking tour and it was a great day all around!

Guide was excellent story teller. Always found a shady spot to stop. Would definitely recommend. Good use of 2.5 hours to learn a lot of Boston’s history.
