Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

An excellent tour. I was so impressed with our guide’s knowledge of the American Revolution and more importantly his passion for painting a true picture of the events. So many myths and legends abound out there and its nice to see someone giving the actual factual accounts of the people and events involved. Thank you!!

Myths and legends may be fun, but I think the true stories from Revolutionary Boston are even more interesting! As John Adams wisely stated, "Facts are stubborn things" and we shouldn't simply ignore them.

Ted is very friendly and is an expert on Paul Revere. Our son learned a lot and really enjoyed his jokes. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a truly historic tour!

I've never agreed with the idea that history has to be boring; Revolutionary Boston was quite the exciting town! I first came to appreciate Paul Revere when working inside his historic home, and it never ceases to amaze me how much he contributed beyond that famous midnight ride... thank you for sharing this 5-star review!

Ted is your go to guy if you want to learn the Boston historical revolution. Ted makes history interesting, fascinating and real at the same time. You will feel as if you were back in time because Ted really knows his stuff!!! We are extremely happy that we picked him out of all the tours available. The tour was kept in small groups so that everyone can participate and understand. We really enjoyed this tour, thank you Ted!!
