Boston's principal role in launching the American Revolution is linked by the brick-lined Freedom Trail. This world-famous pedestrian path is best experienced on foot, in a small group, with a knowledgeable local guide! This 2.5-hour tour travels the trail from Boston Common to Copp's Hill Terrace, providing guests a chance to see ALL SIXTEEN official landmarks on the Freedom Trail.

Our small-group walking tour delves deeply into the years 1760 to 1776, the tumultuous years leading into the American Revolution. We walk in the footsteps of Colonial Bostonians, all of whom grappled with the difficult—yet essential—question of loyalty or rebellion to crown and country.

My good friend and I did both the "Resistance" tour and the "Rebellion" tour on the same day. Ted is the perfect guide for this, his background in history gives insight to the specific events that led to the creation of our nation. The tour sizes is kept small on purpose so everyone feels there questions were answered and not rushed. I cannot recommend this tour for anyone that is visiting Boston!

We did both the “Resistance” and the “Rebellion” tours on the same day, and were very happy with the whole experience. Ted (tour guide/business owner) does a fantastic job in every regard: he is extremely knowledgeable about Boston’s Revolutionary history, he’s articulate, great at weaving a story, and also has a pleasant, genuine disposition. Our tour groups were small (6 in the morning, 8 in the afternoon), which enabled us to interact as much as we liked, while making it much easier to hear everything being discussed at all times (as compared to a large group experience). Highly recommend both tours - it was a day well spent!

Thank you for your 5-star review, Mark! Revolutionary Boston's history is also a complex story requiring maps, portraits, and primary documents—as such, my Communal tours are limited to 12 guests, which I think makes the experience far better for everyone, myself included!
