David Westbrook is not a kind and professional person and I DO NOT RECOMMEND him or his tours in NOLA or anywhere for that fact.

We have much enjoyed our time in New Orleans and have no hesitation about paying ā€œtop dollarā€ for high quality experiences. This tour was promoted as a educative culinary and cultural experience, where we would ā€œmeet the people behind the scenes.ā€ It wasnā€™t! i) Poor quality destinations - bars serving food; ii) indifferent quality and meagre portions of food on offer - small cups of jambalaya, gumbo, and red beans with rice; iii) only water was offered unless we asked and paid for other beverages; iv) absolutely no engagement with ā€œpeople behind the scenes.ā€ On the contrary, one establishment had released our seats to ā€œtheir customersā€ and we had to wait in the street until alternative upstairs seating was arranged; v) of the 16 paying customers, four left before the end of the tour. This wasnā€™t an inexpensive culinary tour. It cost $85 per person to participate. We were very disappointed.
