French Quarter
Prepare yourself for a great afternoon with the Tour That Tastes Good! You will be greeted by one of our good-looking and brainy tour guides, who will be eager to escort you to historic restaurants with wonderful ambiance. There you will taste mouthwatering local dishes, such as Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and the Muffaletta sandwich. A praline for dessert is included! You will glide through our fabulous French Quarter, founded in 1718. You will admire historic St. Louis Cathedral, named after King Louis IX, who was truly a Saint. He led the seventh and eighth Crusades back in the 13th century. Across the way from the Cathedral is beautiful Jackson Square. If you are interested, the 1850 House on the Square has a nice selection of cookbooks and history books. Regarding the diverse architecture, there is no other place in the country like it. Greek revival buildings stand next modest Shotgun houses. Admire the wrought iron balconies and galleries. We welcome you!

Naif took us on one of the best food tours, which included what turned out to be a bonus NOLA historical tour as well, that we have ever taken world-wide. It turned out to be our favorite part of our whole visit to New Orleans. Naif is very engaging and light hearted, which is not surprising given that he was a teacher for many years beforehand. He relishes a constant flow of questions which makes the tour much more interesting and spontaneous. The food and restaurants were wonderful, we even went back to one again for dinner to have their crawfish etouffee a second time...just fabulous. If you are going to do a food tour in New Orleans (which you should since food is a huge part of the city's fabric), then this is the one, just do it! Thank you Naif! Looking forward to seeing your golden statue in Crowley sometime!

Naif laughed when he read that you look forward to seeing his golden statue in Crowley (where he was born). He's such a jokester. Thank you so much for your glowing review, and recommending us so highly! He was very happy when he read it. It made his day. We hope to see you again in the future. Please remember to recommend us to your friends and family, and on social media. Thank you!
