Six historic homes decorated for Christmas hosted by welcoming and knowledgeable docents made for an enjoyable self-guided Sunday afternoon tour. Two reinactments were highlights - the Reveillon traditions presentation at the Spring Fiesta and the Baroness Pontabla at the Pontabla apartment. Look forward to a regular French Quarter Walking Tour during a future visit to New Orleans. Thanks Jeanetta for taking me!

The Friends of Cabildo walking tour with Robert Johnston of the French Quarter was excellent. Johnston provided a historical, geographical, cultural description of the city past and present. I would definitely recommend this tour as the guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.

Enjoyed a two hour afternoon tour with Stephanie on a Friends of the Cabildo walking tour of the French Quarter. Small group size with an emphasis on history, culture and architecture. Time and money ($20) well spent - note your tour ticket will give you a discount to the Cabildo museum.
