This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

This was our second tour with Roger. It had been 5 years ago but wanted to share the experience with new companions. We lucked out to get Roger again. He was both fun & informative. We all had a great tour together. Well worth the trip. ENJOY!!!

We did the walking tour in the French Quarter with the Friends of the Cabildo. Our guide was Roger who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We have been to NOLA before, but we still learned new and fun facts about the area and enjoyed the experience. It was a lovely day to walk and learn new things about the French Quarter with a great volunteer guide and good group. We planned it with seven people and everyone enjoyed the experience. The overall size of the entire group was also not too large to make it enjoyable for everyone. We also love that we get to support the museum as well.
