I highly recommend Austin Detours. The number of people per tour is small, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the cost is reasonable. Matt is the best and having Jax along made it even better.

Howdy Susan! The team of Matt and Jax is unstoppable!! Our vans hold a maximum of 11 guests so they never feel too full. We hope you'll tour with us again.

My girlfriend and I had a great time learning about Austin from our tour guides Matt and Jax who were extremely fun and knowledgeable. The wine and BBQ were great to check out and we felt at home exploring the region with our guides! Would definitely recommend to anyone even if youā€™re not too interested in wine or BBQs and are keen to learn about Austin

Thank you for riding with Austin Detours and the great review. You got to experience the rare two-fer with two of our best guides. For you next visit try the Live Music Crawl and see another side of Austin's history and culture.

My husband and I did this tour on Friday Aug 8th. Our tour guide was Matt was AWESOME, knowledgeable and funny. Made the drive fun. The Salt Lick was mmm so good. Food came out very quickly. If you're a Dr. Who Fan like my husband and I are, you'll get a kick out of the Tardis in the parking lot before you enter the Salt Lick. After the Salt Lick we went to the Driftwood Winery which had beautiful views and good wine. The second winery was Dutchman this one was ok. More fancier then Driftwood so it's all about what appeals to you. Matt was also always there ready to take pictures where ever we wanted. Thank you Matt for making the BBQ and wine tour memorable. Howdy Rochelle! We're happy that Matt was able to show you a great time. We're really happy to have him on our team. Next time you visit, the distilleries and breweries in the Hill County are quite charming and there's more BBQ to be had.
