What To Expect
1
Old Faithful
The most famous geyser in the world, Old Faithful geyser was named for its frequent and somewhat predictable eruptions, which number more than a million since Yellowstone became the world’s first national park in 1872. Guests will be able to watch Old Faithful erupt from the nearby wooden boardwalk and check major bucket list item off their list!
2
Old Faithful Inn
Old Faithful Inn was Built in 1903-1904 with local logs and stone from what is now the Yellowstone National Park area. The Inn is considered the largest log structure in the world. The towering lobby features a massive stone fireplace and a hand-crafted clock made of copper, wood and wrought iron serving as focal points.
3
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Great Loop Road at Canyon Village,
4
Yellowstone Lake
Yellowstone Lake, Grand Loop Road Between Fishing Bridge and Grant Village
5
Lower Yellowstone River Falls
Lower Falls, the biggest waterfall in Yellowstone at 308-feet tall, is the most famous waterfall in the park. The canyon’s colors were created by hot water acting on volcanic rock. It was not these colors, but the river’s yellow banks at its distant confluence with the Missouri River, that occasioned the Minnetaree Indian name which French trappers translated as roche jaune, yellow stone. The canyon has been rapidly downcut more than once, perhaps by great glacial outburst floods.
6
Fountain Paint Pot
The Fountain Paint Pots is an amazing stop in Yellowstone National Park's Lower Loop. They are mud pots located in Lower Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. The Fountain Paint Pots are named for the rich reds, and vivid yellows and browns of the mud in this area. The differing colors are derived from oxidation states of the iron in the mud.
7
Hayden Valley
Hayden Valley is a must stop wildlife paradise and the location of the largest herd of free roaming bison in the world. We'll be watching for bears, wolves, bison, elk, mule deer, coyotes, fox, eagles, pronghorn and other critters while driving through this beautiful area!
8
West Thumb Geyser Basin
We'll walk along the boardwalk and discover the many beautiful hydrothermal pools located in this basin area that is an extension of the Yellowstone Lake area.

Susan was a wonderful guide on our tour. We had 6 people on this tour and felt very lucky to have Susan as our guide. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated to doing the best tour she could for our day tour. We saw a lot of places including Old Faithful, Upper/Lower Falls, etc, and of course deer, elk, bison, and surprisingly a couple of bald eagles. We had a great time!! Thanks, Susan!!

My family just returned from Jackson this past Saturday. First excursion was a day trip to Yellowstone with BrushBack Tours. McKenna was our driver. I cannot say enough good things about her but will try to highlight a few. First of all, she was a competent driver with an expansive knowledge of the park. Secondly, she set the tone for the trip by saying that the ten occupants of the tour would be best friends in the end. How right she was. She was able to time our scenic stops so there was minimal traffic. We saw moose, bison (a whole herd running down a hill), geothermals including Old Faithful, and right before we left, a grizzly. What I loved about McKenna was that with every sighting, she was just as thrilled as the occupants in her van. This was a lifetime experience for our family. Thanks for the memories McKenna.

Days prior to the trip (which I did in late August on a Monday), I was contacted by Brushbuck Wildlife Tours to confirm details which was great initiative on their part, making me feel less worried about whether or not they'd turn up to pick my up from my hotel. I was sent a text message to be ready by 5:30 am at my Jackson hotel and McKenna was there outside my hotel to greet me with a smile at 5:25 am. She also greeted me using a nice warm beverage ;). We continued to pick up the rest of the tourists and it ended up being a intimate 5 person tour (including McKenna). Given that the weather was a rainy day, that did not stop us from having a great time and making the most of what was on offer. We managed to see moose, elk, funny and awkward bison, a bald eagle, and in all occasions, McKenna was there to point them out, set up binoculars and try and get us a decent yet safe view of the animals. We were treated to many scenic and beautiful views including the Old Faithful geyser, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Grand Prismatic Springs. Snacks were available throughout the trip (chips, bananas, water) and lunch was provided which included a hearty sandwich and fruit. I want to thank Mckenna our guide, she was down to earth, great to have a chin wag with to talk about anything (honestly). I would recommend her without hesitation. I also want to thank the people I met on the tour, because we shouldn't forget that it's those that we travel with that sets the tone of the day and your memories of the trip. Please, when going on trips, do not expect to see all the animals you want. Remember they are wild and don't appear according to a schedule. Appreciate the time and effort your guide puts in, in trying to make your time worthwhile (12 hours of conversation/driving/finding animals/trying to answer questions is hard). Work with your guide, communicate with them, and tell them what you want to see or do early. It will help them plan and make yours and your guide's day, that much better. Thank you Brushbuck, Mckenna, for making a suspect day weather wise, one that I will be able to remember for a lifetime. Chris (aka doorman)
