What To Expect

The Quicksilver 2-Hour Lahaina Sunset Dinner Cruise offers three main course meal options. Rosemary and garlic roasted prime rib, fresh island Mahi-Mahi with lemon caper sauce, and the vegetarian option is penne pasta with Thai basil marinara. For starters, spring mix salad with tomatoes and carrots, cilantro vinaigrette, homemade buttery croutons, and a taro roll with honey butter, The side dishes are steamed rice with Shoyu and sautéed vegetables. For dessert banana cake with Lilikoi frosting and a cobbler topping.

Excellent trip. Staff were on their toes and took care of the entire boat. Food was very good. Captain was terrific. Captain captured the sunset that was beautful.

The best thing about the trip was the staff. They were eager to take pictures and were very attentive. The downside was the water was choppy so it tossed us everywhere. The Mahi mahi was dry and rice hard and overcooked. The dessert was good and well as the salad.

I can only guess that they overcooked the prime rib and tried to make it serve too many people. Mine was about 1/4 inch thick and dry ,leathery. My daughters was similar. The other 5 in the party were given small but better prime rib. Really disappointing since the view was poor from inside where we had to sit so the food being poor too made for a bad experience. The music was good. Talented guitar player playing and singing n the background so that we could listen but also talk. Crew were pleasant I will not try quicksilver again.
