What To Expect

Lahaina Harbor

The Quicksilver 2-Hour Lahaina Sunset Dinner Cruise offers three main course meal options. Rosemary and garlic roasted prime rib, fresh island Mahi-Mahi with lemon caper sauce, and the vegetarian option is penne pasta with Thai basil marinara. For starters, spring mix salad with tomatoes and carrots, cilantro vinaigrette, homemade buttery croutons, and a taro roll with honey butter, The side dishes are steamed rice with Shoyu and sautéed vegetables. For dessert banana cake with Lilikoi frosting and a cobbler topping.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this trip. Positives: the musician was AMAZING. Great entertainment. The staff was very sweet and made the trip a lot of fun. We got to see a whale on our tour out which was really nice. The rolls and butter were delicious and sweet; we wanted more than the one they were delicious. Cons: pretty much all of the rest of the food. My husband said his Mahi Mahi tasted fishy and he’s never had that taste in that fish. My prime rib was thin and mediocre, served with overcooked plain white rice. The banana cake was decent but mine had a hair in it. We had very high trade winds so the cruise back into the harbor was just a float and the rocking made my husband very seasick. You have to purchase your photo for $25 from a kiosk man taking pictures of all the dinner cruises. For over $100 per person, I wouldn’t say I could recommend this and we wouldn’t do it again. It wasn’t all terrible but could definitely use improvement. The musician saved the show for me: such relaxing and romantic Hawaiian tunes!

It was my birthday when we did the dinner cruise and it was one of the most special memories I will have of celebrating my birthday. The crew was absolutely wonderful, the food was delicious. My husband is physically disabled and they made sure he was comfortable the whole time.
