Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

We have our captain and crew arrived 30-minutes earlier than usual to spray sanitation and disinfectant on the vessel, and wipe down high traffic areas before guests arrive. Masks & Sanitation are available on boat for guests also.

We didn't have a good time on this excursion which was partly the fault of the provider and partly out of their hands. First of all, when we booked, it included snorkeling at 2 destinations and drinks for purchase. Apparently, they changed boats and the one we were on didn't have it's liquor license. When we inquired about purchasing a drink, we were told that it was byob. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. Secondly, the boat was so packed with people that you couldn't sunbath at all and it was hard to even find a place to sit down. We snorkeled at the Molokini crater but the water was really gross with trash and debris because of some big swells that had come through - my husband even had a maxi pad hit him in the face!! There were also hardly any fish to see but that was probably because of the swells as well.

We headed over to the second snorkel location and were told that we couldn't get in the water because the bacteria levels were too high. So we just hung out on the boat... doing nothing... for hours... sober!!! I understand that it wasn't their fault that we couldn't get in the water but it would have been better to head back early so we could find something else to do instead of just sitting around wasting time.

They ran out of breakfast sandwiches so we were only offered muffins and pastries. I will say, the food that they provided for lunch was good.

The boat was state of the art, best one of its kind. We have been on several snorkeling excursions in lots of different islands and this one out does all of them. The staff was very friendly and put safety at a high priority. The tour was great, we saw amazing fish and turtles. I would highly recommend this tour.

We got to go on Quicksilver's new boat The Calypso, Very nice. The eating was fantastic....we sat on the very top deck. Seats were comfortable and the ride was great. The crew was outstanding. When we reached our snorkeling spots, the crew got in the water to tie off the boat. Both times it was one of the female crew members in the water. They rock!!! They had to swim out, dive down to get the spot to tie off. They are my new idols!!!! Go girls! The breakfast and lunch was very good. Everything was very good! The crew was there for your every need. I give them 5 stars and I highly recommend this snorkeling adventure.
