Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

We have our captain and crew arrived 30-minutes earlier than usual to spray sanitation and disinfectant on the vessel, and wipe down high traffic areas before guests arrive. Masks & Sanitation are available on boat for guests also.

The variety of fish we saw was amazing! The crew was friendly and helpful, the equipment worked well, and the food was very good. The captain gave an interesting talk on the way back. I recommend renting the underwater camera they offer. All our pictures and videos were ready for us on a CD by time we returned to the harbor. There were 13 of us, ages 11-70, and everyone had a great time.

We saw some great fish, moray eels, starfish,etc. I used an underwater camera to catch some great pics of the sealife. We went to Turtle town too and ironically no turtles were seen in the water by snorkelers, except by those who stayed on the boat and one turtle popped his head up around the front of the boat. Everyone gets in the water on the back of the boat so we missed him! Nice breakfast and lunch spread too. Cordial crew.
