Full-Circle "Reverse" - Luxury Road to Hana Tour from West Maui

Overview
#1 We go ALL THE WAY AROUND THE MOUNTAIN so you don't see the same thing twice!
#2 We do it in REVERSE, the way the locals do it!
There are a few options to choose from to explore the Road to Hana so you can experience the rainforest & its waterfalls, streams, fresh water ponds, bamboo forests & lush foliage, but there is only one company where the owners are actually a Native Hawaiian husband & wife team that were born & raised Hawaii. We pride ourselves in sharing the Hawaiian culture, history, & stories about Hawaii & what its like to live life here in the islands, while treating you like the VIP that you are! Our family history goes back 150 years & they still live in a little community out on the Road to Hana. While on tour we'll stop by our family's fruit stand that has been operating for 40 yrs & is the home of "the original banana bread." We'll cover the rigid & rugged terrain on the backside of Maui & travel where most visitors never see. Hot lunch & souvenir backpack included.

Doug and Everett were truly outstanding hosts, and made us feel like family. There genuine stories from being native from Maui made the experience sooooo memorable!! I did this treacherous drive myself several years back, but this is certainly by far much better with seasoned local drivers who also add in very interesting stories along the way.

Great tour! The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and made it feel not only welcoming, but vey authentic. It was a great way to learn about the history and culture of Maui and get deeper than just the beauty of the island. It was a smart decision to take this tour versus driving it because there were soooooo many curves that it would have been nerve wrecking to drive ourselves; however we were in very good hands during the tour! The rainforest is beautiful and although it is a long day, a breakfast of banana bread, fresh pineapple and a hot drink was provided for breakfast, a decent lunch was included and they gave us a little gift bag upon arrival. We even made a stop at Dougā€™s (one of the guides) childhood home which just made it seem even more authentic. Overall if youā€™re looking to do the Hana road tour, Iā€™d highly recommend Hawaiian Style Tours! They treat you like family!

MAHALO for the great detailed review and the feedback (I am guessing from the username that this is "M16"?) - I heard all about how much fun you folks had on Friday! We are glad that you choose Hawaiian Style Tours to drive all those curves and gave us the opportunity to share our history, culture and stories with you. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. A hui hou! Doug & Lilia

Doug and Everett made this tour amazing! They made us feel like family from the moment they picked us up at the hotel. The bus was comfortable and they supplied us with everything we needed - sunscreen, bug repellent, towels, and more. We had a delicious lunch at Hana Ranch. Each stop we made was breathtaking. We would recommend this tour! Doug and Everett were knowledgeable about the history, agriculture, and driving on the roads. We even got to visit Dougā€™s childhood home and get shaved ice from his familyā€™s fruit store.
