Overview

Raft through Browns Canyon National Monument and experience the fun and excitement of Colorado's #1 stretch of whitewater. This full day small group trip extends 16 miles and the fun of the half-day Browns Canyon trip (10 miles). Typically, you will be on the river approximately 4-5 hours (varies with water levels), including lunch. Lunch in Browns Canyon features delicious deli-style sandwiches, fruit, homemade breads and fresh-baked cookies. After lunch it's back to the river, where an afternoon of rapids, including the infamous Seidel's Suckhole and drenching waves of Twin Falls, await. A must do on your Colorado Adventure Vacation! Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
As per industry standards, all participants must sign a Release Form (liability waiver) and/or an assumption of risk form to acknowledge understanding of these risks and assume all risk of participation.
Whitewater Rafting participants must:
Be at least 6 years old with sound body and mind capable of performing specific tasks independently.
Be able to self rescue in the event of a swim.
Properly fit into a type 5 coat guard approved life jacket.
Wear closed toe shoes.
Read and understand all the instructions in English.
Consult a doctor before participating if you have a history of head, neck, back, shoulder, or cardiac concerns.

I attended Noah's with a group of students who serve in different leadership roles at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We stayed the week at Noah's and participated in white water rafting, the high ropes course, and a three-day backpacking trip. Our raft guides Wes H. and Gabby S. were both experienced and engaging, making the 4 hour trip fly by. Beyond that, these two (along with with Austin B.) participated in our nightly discussions on leadership, adding some insightful comments that stimulated thought and conversation. Even more, they encouraged all 11 of us on individual levels. On our backpacking trip, our guide Kinsey C. visibly made the effort to create meaningful relationships with each of us on the trail. She was knowledgeable in her job and encouraging in the way she spoke and acted. This review would not be complete without mentioning Smokey F. who's skills in capturing genuine moments of vulnerability with her camera were phenomenal. And of course, should out to everyone who hiked ice cream out 5 miles on the trail during our second night of backpacking. I was personally invested in by these peers I met at Noah's. I will return to Michigan feeling equipped to pursue my role as a Resident Assistant on campus with revived passion. I certainly intend on returning to Noah's Ark. In short, you'd be crazy to pick a different adventure company in the Buena Vista area.

Today our family of 5 did a full day Browns Canyon rafting trip with Noah's Ark Whitewater. We chose them because of their great reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Shay was a fantastic guide. She interacted very well with both me and my husband and our three teenage kids. She told us as we approached more challenging rapids what she needed us to do, and she kept a positive attitude throughout our trip. The sandwich lunch that Noah's Ark provided midway through the day WAY exceeded our expectations. If you want to do an all day trip, you won't regret choosing Noah's Ark.

We’ve never been rafting before and we were not sure what to expect. We arrive in the morning for an all day rafting trip through Browns Canyon. Brandon knew who I was as soon as I started walking towards him. He immediately checked us in and made us feel welcome and comfortable with our choice of rafting companies. Then we meet Gaby - she gets us our equipment and Ka-Ching, she turns out to be our guide as well. These young guides are not only experienced but so much fun and passionate about the experience....I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard while not knowing what was going to happen around the next bend. The entire experience was extraordinary. I’m not young but it was so much fun to feel young. Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ll be back.
