This is a full day, 8 hour guided fishing trip in a custom drift boat on the Kenai River as well as the Kasilof River on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. These trips provide great opportunities to experience unparalleled fishing for Pacific Salmon and Trout on some of the most Pristine waterways in Alaska. We provide all necessary tackle and equipment as well as complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, water and soda.

After many months of cleaning with Dave, it worked out that we went with one of his guides, JD. He showed us an incredible time on the Kasilof river, catching 10 fish, floating for many many miles. It was an outstanding effort by the guide to help fit us with waders and equipment, Drawing on local resources and local knowledge to make our day on the water the best it’s ever been in 40 years. Major kudos to Dave and JD.

These folks are the real deal! Two full days of fishing the Kasilof and Kenia rivers in drift boats was everything one could want. Fish, sights, and wildlife. Light tackle is the way to go, especially the fly rod trip. You do not need to know how to fly fish. They will get you dialed in on the technique necessary in about 15 minutes. Put these folks on your list and you will not be disappointed. Rick, Evan, Pete and Scott (SoCal).

What a great day on the Kenai River. My 11 year old son and I are complete novices. We left the day feeling like pro anglers! Dave handled our reservation. We booked months in advance and he answered questions, confirmed a week out, and even responded the morning of (at 6a) when I emailed about sunscreen - we had forgotten ours. The river is majestic so full of serenity. All of the boats are oars-only on the sections we were on. It really adds to the experience. Once you’re on the water, there were no mosquitoes - a real plus! There is an eagle area 2/3 of the way down and we saw multiple eagles. Mike is a true pro. He has been on teams that have won major fishing competitions around the world and has fished in all 50 states. He knows the river, is full of stories, and readily played along with me as I spun a yarn to joke with my son. My 11 yo loved talking with him. From the moment we met Mike, he was talking to my son - making him the star of the trip. We had high water and cold water - both of which affect the fish. And yet, Mike found us fish - and we got that iconic Alaska picture for my boy. You can’t always guarantee that the River will cooperate and you’ll be hooking fish every 10 minutes. But I can tell you - you can bank on a great time with Mike as your guide!
