This is a full day, 8 hour guided fishing trip in a custom drift boat on the Kenai River as well as the Kasilof River on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. These trips provide great opportunities to experience unparalleled fishing for Pacific Salmon and Trout on some of the most Pristine waterways in Alaska. We provide all necessary tackle and equipment as well as complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, water and soda.

I spent three amazing days fishing with Cooper Landing Fishing guide and had some of the best fishing on my life, certainly the best trout fishing. I got a personal best rainbow 24+ inches. Mike, my guide for three days was awesome and put me on fish, consistently. His knowledge of the river and the ecosystem made a huge difference not only I the fishing but also learning about the Kenai river and local environment. Besides the great guiding and on river experience, Dave and Jackie were also amazing in helping me plan this trip for more than a year. They answered all my questions and helped me plan not only a great week on Kenia but a great fishing trip through Alaska with tips on Homer, Talkeetna and beyond. they are by far one of the best guides and outfitters I have had the pleasure of fishing with and I typically fish 12-15 guided trips a year. can't wait to go back in the fall of '24 Alec

My wife and I booked a full day river float with Dave’s company. It was our 1st trip to Alaska and wanted to go fishing on the river. We looked at a few places and with us staying in Cooper Landing we chose his company. We received confirmation of our trip and subsequent emails leading up to the charter. Dave made sure we were prepared for any and everything we could have possibly needed. When it came time for the actual charter we meet Brian our amazing guide. He was waiting in the parking lot for us with the gear we needed. He explained everything we were doing the entire day and that was great for first time river fishers. Brian was so friendly/outgoing and we had amazing conversations all day long and nothing ever felt forced. Brian’s knowledge of the river, the fish in it and all the surroundings was second to none. We were very impressed with Brian and his ability to get us anywhere he wanted on the river. His ability to do that had us land several fish throughout the day. The gear was all very nice and well maintained. Brian made sure we were taken care of all day. Huge thank you to Brian and Dave for making the trip wonderful. We had such a good time, so good that we will be back in a couple months to do it all again and it definitely will be with Dave/Brian. If you are looking for a fishing charter, look no further. You have found what you are looking for!!!

We booked 2 full fishing days back to back with cooper landing fishing guide after seeing wonderful reviews on trip advisor. My husband and I had a fantastic time! We went end of September- deff did need plenty of layers to stay warm (boots/waders provided) and did trout catch/release fishing day 1 with jeff and silver (coho) salmon fishing day 2 with Dave. It was amazing to learn how to fly fish. We met up at their headquarters and followed them about 30 mins to the spot. Jeff and Dave were very kind, patient, and knowledgeable even with it being my first time fishing. Arm was sore after but we will definitely come back! We recommend to anyone. Also we still couldn’t get over how beau full the scenery is! We decided to fish the last couple days of our trip so if we did catch fish we could more easily bring it back on the plane. Since we went end of the main season in copper landing, the only fish processing areas open were in anchorage. For the last night we rented a cooler from our cabin and iced the fish which worked until we made it back to anchorage to be processed and checked on the plane.
