What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Travelers will experience a personalized private tour of the Grand Canyon South Rim while learning about local flora and fauna from our knowledgeable guides. For lunch, dine en-route at the Navajo-run historic Cameron Trading post, at the Grand Canyon at The El Tovar Restaurant, or have a personalized picnic style lunch on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Walnut Canyon National Monument

As an optional stop, hike down into Walnut Canyon along the Island Trail to experience 1000-year old Native-American ruins up close and personal. You can enter many of the structures to view the signs of life that the indigenous people left behind. Get your heart pumping as you ascend the stairs out of the canyon on your return to the Visitor Center.

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument

Experience the incredible volcanic landscape of Northern Arizona and do a short hike among the lava fields as an optional stop on your way to Grand Canyon. This volcano erupted less than 1,000 years ago and heavily impacted the human culture in the area.

Wupatki National Monument

As another option, visit one of the greatest remnants of the early Native-American pueblos where migrating tribes from the north (the athabascan-speaking tribes) mixed and mingled with the early Pai tribes from the south. This area served as a major focus of trading between the two tribes and is a sacred place where the earth "breathes".
