Overview

Wild Lime Adventures will allow you to experience the mysterious and iconic Everglades National Park on this small group (less than 12 guests) adventure led by a Florida Master Naturalist or a trained biologist. You will explore three unique habitats by hiking with your guide. A two hour paddle on a kayak will allow you the opportunity to see diverse habitats as well as many plants and animals including wading birds, alligators, crocodiles, manatees, turtles and fish. A picnic lunch with vegan and vegetarian choices is is included along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. We are one of only a couple of operators permitted to guide tours in Everglades National Park!

What To Expect

Be picked up to start your journey to this iconic national park,

Everglades National Park

Meet your naturalist guide and proceed to Everglades National Park where you will enjoy a narrated history of the park enroute to your first hike. You will experience two hikes through two uniquely different ecosystems and have the chance to see many different birds species, alligators, turtles, fish and more. Next, we will have a delicious lunch overlooking the very remote and pristine Florida Bay. After lunch you will go a guided kayak with a chance to see the endangered crocodiles and manatees, truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Enjoy an amazing guided kayak trip in Everglades National Park. You will paddle alongside manates and crocodiles and many species of birds.

I cannot recommend Wild Lime enough, especially as someone unfamiliar with South Florida and had to plan a corporate event for a group of 8. Stacy and her team were extremely professional, communicative, hospitable, and took care of absolutely everything from the time I reached out to them (about 2 weeks before the trip), to the week of, the day of, and afterwards. They were very accommodating, picking us up and returning us to our Airbnb in Miami Beach, and it was a pleasure listening to Stacy share her knowledge and passion about the Everglades. Also, I definitely want to mention that Stacy is a very safe and capable driver - she handled a crazy Miami traffic situation perfectly (basically a crazy car switched over 2 lanes and through a median very suddenly and without warning to get to an exist and would have hit us if it weren't for Stacy).

Stacy and Elijah were wonderful guides with incredible knowledge of the wildlife, various ecosystems, history, plant life of the Everglades. They were warm, personable, funny and accommodating throughout our day. Hiking was not too strenuous but we did get more of a welcome workout kayaking to see manatees, crocodiles, beautiful birds and endangered fish.Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our day.
