Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! This in an intermediate trip but also not too scary for first-timers. The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip.

Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

Beautiful scenery, a lot of whitewater on each trip, pristine water quality, a feeling of remoteness, a comfortable and dry climate, and a wide selection of options to help you enjoy your perfect trip.

My family of four did this tour, kids ages 8 and 12. The day was exciting and fun. Our guide, Kotty, did an excellent job not only keeping our family safe but also providing many details about the history of the area. The boys had an excellent time and asked to go again the next day. The other guides in our group were were very friendly and knowledgeable about rafting. The group leader, Swanie, was very energetic and hilarious. He kept the bus ride exciting. My family would definitely recommend this trip.

First time going water rafting in Colorado. There are a lot of companies that offer rafting trips in Browns Canyon, and I CANNOT recommend The Adventure Company enough!! From check-in, to safety walk through, all through the rafting trip, The Adventure Company met all of our expectations. Our raft guide was John Swan "Swanny" and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was very experienced with rafting and knowledgeable about the BV region in general. He had no shortage of jokes and made the trip very enjoyable for our whole family. He even took time after the trip to lay out fun activities for the whole family throughout the rest of our stay. All staff were very friendly and encouraging. The AC rents white water equipment for very cheap if you don't have proper attire. We went down about 10 very cool rapids and John had the technical expertise to guide us safely and swiftly through each. The ultimate fiesta feast for lunch was delicious and much better than you will get with any other rafting company. Thank you!! Definitely choose Adventure Company if you are planning on going rafting in the region.

The entire experience was awesome. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The guides were also very friendly, funny and easy to follow. The entire day trip was fun for our entire family, with boys ages 19, 18, 14 and 11. We took a nice hike at lunch and afterwards the shore lunch was ready and delicious. The afternoon trip ended with multiple great rapids and great info about our surroundings. Mike was our guide and he was great. A special mention should also go to Swanny and Kotty. I highly recommend this outfitter!
