My husband and I booked a 1/2 day trip with Garl's Coastal Kayaking, on March 11, 2015. We had never seen an alligator outside of a zoo, and saw too many to count! We didn't have a whole lot of experience in a kayak, but Garl gave us some basic instructions, and we were able to navigate fine, during our tour. Garl was very knowledgable regarding the Everglades, the plants, wildlife and we felt we were safe and in good hands the entire adventure. I highly recommend booking a trip with Garl to explore the Everglades. It definately was the highlight of our trip!

Six of us spent the day slogging and kayaking with Garl this week. All of us live in the Florida Keys and and have spent lots of time in the Everglades but this experience is totally unique and the very best way to experience the true beauty of the river of grass. I would give Garl a six "dot" rating if I could.

The weather wasn't ideal but it didn't stop us from enjoying a full day in the Everglades. We slogged to see alligators in a Cypress Dome, spent the afternoon paddling Nine Mile through the mangroves and enjoyed the trail at night watching the gators with our flash lights. Garl knows everything about the area and we learned so much.
