Garl is a terrific guide whose quiet enthusiasm for the environment is contagious. We took an everglades kayak tour and saw so much that we wouldn't have otherwise. He tailored our tour to meet our needs which included two kids. Well worth it!

We had three families with kids ranging from 17 to 10 years old. We did a day trip with Garl which consisted of a walk through the glades visiting some alligator water holes, a fresh water kayak tour, and a salt water coastal kayak tour. Garl made us feel very comfortable and at one with our surroundings. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, nature, and beautiful surroundings. Garl and his crew of guides are more than just running a tour - They have in depth knowledge and a passion for the ecosystem within the glades. Great Job Garl!

I booked the full day tour for our family (our three sons are all in their 20's). Some of us had been to the Everglades before, but we'd never had this kind of experience. Don was our guide and his knowledge base had impressive depth and breath. We asked questions all day long and Don was patient and enthusiastic. The eco-systems are fascinating and Don's passion and excitement was contagious. Slogging through a cypress dome was (unexpectedly) our favorite part of the day.In addition to alligators, the plant life etc was so interesting The kayaking part of the trip was a special treat. We'd all kayaked before in rivers, lakes and the ocean, but we had never kayaked in sight of alligators. Don was so knowledgable that we felt calm and confident. It was an exciting adventure that we would have never attempted without an experienced guide. We learned and saw things we would have never been able to do on our own. What a treat! Don is smart, passionate, as well as warm and funny and we felt fortunate to spend the day with him.
