We spent an extremely fun and informative day with Garl discovering the Everglades in a way that most tourists will miss entirely. Starting out with a slog right into a beautiful cypress dome, Garl showed our small group the unique ecosystem of the Everglades that supports an amazing variety of wildlife and unique plant species. That alone is worth the trip, but he then guided us both on a freshwater paddle through the "river of grass" and a saltwater paddle into the mangrove and marine waters where the Everglades seamlessly meets the ocean. It was a very thorough tour and I feel I have a much better understanding of this delicate and unique ecosystem. Garl's passion and knowledge of this environment is inspiring and I will be back.

A fantastic experience by a very knowledgeable guide; no gimmicks - just an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide who showed us the Everglades that he knows and loves. Our day included two wet walks and a kayaking trip - the day was relaxed and catered for the interests and abilities of our small group with plenty of opportunities for questions and photos. I cannot thank Garl enough for such a fantastic day!
