This was a fantastic adventure in the everglades, with "up close and personal" encounters with the wildlife. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day hiking through a cypress dome to an alligator hole, and spending time on the water in the kayaks. Garl is a wealth of knowledge. We learned so many interesting things. We would do this tour again and have already recommended it to some friends.

Garl is clearly passionate about the Everglades. We learned a lot from him. We would have missed out on a lot if we simply would have driven through the park or taken an airboat ride. We came close to alligators, crocodiles and lemon sharks but never felt unsafe because of Garl's wealth of knowledge and experience in the Everglades. We are inexperienced at kayaking but Garl was patient and when we became tired, he tied the kayaks together and paddled us to shore but not until we were able to view the sunset on the water together. An added bonus is that Garl took the time to take photos of us that he will be sharing with us. Thank you Garl!

My husband and I loved our first day in the Everglades led by Garl who inspired confidence and guided us around parts of the park we surely would not have felt comfortable exploring on our own (wading through the cypress forest seeking alligators was a highlight, as was paddling through the maze-like mangroves). After the tour, we rented kayaks from him to do a two-night paddle/camping experience on our own and he made sure we were fully outfitted with all of the straps and gear we needed. Spending a full day with Garl, learning about the local flora and fauna and getting comfortable in the varied landscapes of the park helped make the rest of our trip feel safe and even more enjoyable. Highly highly recommended for tours and rentals!
