We felt like a guide would be key to seeing the Everglades - knowing where to look, what to look for, and how to explore the park. Garl was an absolutely amazing guide! His knowledge and experience is unparalleled - animals, plants, history, the Everglades, etc. Despite being very close to alligators, crocodiles (and maybe snakes - though we did not seeing any the day we went), we all felt safe and well taken care of - we went places we would have NEVER gone on our own, or even know how to access. There was a ton of variety and so much beauty to take in. We were a group of six - 2 adults and 4 older teenagers. We are still talking, remembering, laughing and being amazed at what we saw, where we went and what we did. Garl is very accommodating and will adapt the trip to comfort level, weather, experience, what you'd most like to see. He is super low key and laid back, but has so many stories and things to share as the day progresses. We have been to lots of National Parks and have had many adventurous and fun days, but this ranks up there as one of the best! Don't hesitate to book a tour as soon as you are able, worth every penny!

Can’t imagine seeing this park without this tour - freshwater and bay water kayaking next to crocs and gators (( not interested in you ) to the best experience - sloughing in the cypress dome - a birders paradise - with the best knowledgeable guide mike - a full day - forgot about your cares !! (Corona)

Our family went on a day-long tour of the Everglades with Garl & his mom. It was a great introduction to an incredibly interesting national park. This park, because it is so water-based and composed of tangled riverlets that weave among mangroves and other crowded wildplants, requires a GOOD guide to get the most out of it, especially for first timers. We saw more with Garl than we would ever on our own. He is friendly, knowledgable and patient. He obviously loves the Everglades and its wonders and it shows in his story-telling and tour. The wildlife is amazing - we toured on 3/1/2020
