I adventure travel all over the world. This tour was one of the best days I have ever had in adventure travel. The Everglades are a precious resource that, of course, we need to protect more. I feel lucky I was able to take a guided tour which included walking into a cypress dome (water up to our knees or higher), kayaking in mangroves and a bit at the mouth of the Keys. Our guide, Mike, is new to Garls but not new to guiding handling tour groups. He was a master of all trades, finding wildlife, identifying flora and fauna, he is extremely knowledgeable about the area and holds the Everglades dearly in his heart. He was very professional and made sure all of us were engaged and ok. He also took photographs that we get including some careful shots of each of us amongst some of the most beautiful backdrops imaginable, think, cypress trees with bromeliads-. I highly recommend this tour, especially in the winter months. It is educational as well as simply incredibly enjoyable.

My friends and I recently took the day long Everglades adventure with Garl's Coastal Kayaking. We had an amazing time. Several of the people in attendance were there for the he second time because they enjoyed their first trip so much. Garl's knowledge of the Everglades is simply mind boggling. His passion for the environment comes through immediately. Garl has a way of connecting with every guest and making everyone feel welcome. I'm already planning a second trip. There is just so much to see and take in. Thank you Garl for a wonderful day.

Fantastic day of sloughing and kayaking with wonderful identification of birds, gators, crocs, sharks. Our guide, Mike, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and an excellent storyteller. The slough into a cypress mound and gator hole was a special peek into a part of the Everglades that few people get to see. If you have only one day to experience the Glades, do this! We spent 5 days and this was our highlight.
