Ho'okipa Beach Park

This hot spot should definitely be on your "must see" list! This beach is all about action and daring stunts on surfboards! Definitely worth stopping on your way to Hana! Lots of turtles too.

Ke‘anae Point

The Ke’anae Peninsula is a dramatic half-mile long massive finger of newer lava sticking out from the cliff line of the Hana Highway. Well before coming to the turnout, you will have ogled at the scenic peninsula from the many lookouts along the road.

Wai'anapanapa State Park

Waiʻanapanapa State Park, located at the end of Waiʻanapanapa Road off Hana Highway, features some of the most unique sights you’ll ever see. As home to one Maui’s volcanic-sand beaches, you’ll have the chance to experience a black sand beach alongside the ocean.(swimming/hiking/pictures)

My husband and I really loved our private island tour. Our guide, Larry, was fantastic and knew so many fantastic stories about Maui that he shared with us throughout the day. The trip to Hana was great and so beautiful! Larry introduced us to some of the local businesses that we loved visiting! The day was fun filled and we felt like we made a new friend in Larry!

Larry exceeded our expectations! Larry was very educated, friendly, funny and outgoing. The four of us in the car each had very different personalities and he knew how to relate to each one of us! If you want your tour to be perfect I’d suggest booking Larry!

If you can't stay over night in Hana this is the way to go!!! It is a long day as a driver and too long to enjoy and self drive. Having your own driver and car vs being part of a full tour provided flexibility and eliminated the group wait at each stop. The guide/driver (Jeff) was engaging and knowledgable and made for a great day.
