Ho'okipa Beach Park

This hot spot should definitely be on your "must see" list! This beach is all about action and daring stunts on surfboards! Definitely worth stopping on your way to Hana! Lots of turtles too.

Ke‘anae Point

The Ke’anae Peninsula is a dramatic half-mile long massive finger of newer lava sticking out from the cliff line of the Hana Highway. Well before coming to the turnout, you will have ogled at the scenic peninsula from the many lookouts along the road.

Wai'anapanapa State Park

Waiʻanapanapa State Park, located at the end of Waiʻanapanapa Road off Hana Highway, features some of the most unique sights you’ll ever see. As home to one Maui’s volcanic-sand beaches, you’ll have the chance to experience a black sand beach alongside the ocean.(swimming/hiking/pictures)

Our guide, Ryan, took us on a fantastic day tour that included a whale watching trip, a land tour of Paia and the neighboring area, Makawao, and a gorgeous sunset at the top of Haleakala. It was a private tour, and we loved it! The whale watching was our best ever on Hawaii because it was just the two of us on the boat, and we were able to see several whales. Capt Mark did a fantastic job getting us to the whales and giving us some great views. The sunset was one of the most memorable sunsets because of the surreal colors of the clouds up on the mountain. Very highly recommended!

We had a private tour which lasted from 11-6pm. We did a variety of events that was well worth the time. The whale watching was the best ever. I wish this could’ve been over the course of two days but the overall experience was great. The guides David and Scott were full of laughter and our Cpt Brad was super knowledgeable and took us straight to the whales. We had great food, education and a trip that will remember forever!
