Ho'okipa Beach Park

This hot spot should definitely be on your "must see" list! This beach is all about action and daring stunts on surfboards! Definitely worth stopping on your way to Hana! Lots of turtles too.

Ke‘anae Point

The Ke’anae Peninsula is a dramatic half-mile long massive finger of newer lava sticking out from the cliff line of the Hana Highway. Well before coming to the turnout, you will have ogled at the scenic peninsula from the many lookouts along the road.

Wai'anapanapa State Park

Waiʻanapanapa State Park, located at the end of Waiʻanapanapa Road off Hana Highway, features some of the most unique sights you’ll ever see. As home to one Maui’s volcanic-sand beaches, you’ll have the chance to experience a black sand beach alongside the ocean.(swimming/hiking/pictures)

The entire ride with Mel was phenomenal. All the sites were great too but Mel made it such a fun, enjoyable and educational day. First time in Maui and we felt so much more comfortable after the day.

The road to Hana was an amazing adventure! We were able to see parts of Maui that many who travel to the island will never see . The road on the back side was very rough but worth the bumps to see the historical stops we made. Our driver Jerry was very knowledgeable about Maui island history. We enjoyed our amazing day and amazing Jerry!!!!!
