Booked a private white water rafting trip for a family 6 and had Ian as a guide. Water was low in august, but still had parts of white water experience. This was our 5 year old's first experience and she loved it. Guide was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Ian noted that the water is much higher in May and the rapids are faster during this time.

We had a great time with a very professional guide. Not a ton of rapids but it was just right for our family. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone heading out that way.

Patrick was a low-key host who kept us interested with some fun facts and tricks. I wish he had been consistently louder as if was often difficult for me to hear. (I was in front). The scenery was fantastic. We saw 3 bald eagles at different spots as well as lots of various birds and ducks. The day we went the water was low, so not very exciting --just a few small rapids. Most of it was pretty leisurely. Suggestions: the ads say they provide you with a wet suit, but they didn't--which I now understand b/c it was too hot. But I wish they'd add "depending on the weather". They also provide professional photos for sale which came from one spot in the river. Another suggestion: add photos of other places in the river (without people) which can be stock, so we can show what the landscape is like. They also didn't say in the ad that they provide lunch, but they gave us a decent lunch.. All in all, a great trip for a good value.
