Pat (NY) was a great guide and very laid back. He was very knowledgeable about fishing in the area. We enjoyed our trip which started with check in at 9:30am and with return to the hub at 4pm. Lunch was basic sandwiches, chips, and watermelon. The water was very low so the rapids were not huge. Most of the trip was calm water with beautiful scenery. It was still worth it.

4 stars only due to the present river conditions—everything else was great. We rafted with Wild West two years ago when the water was higher and it was a 5+ star experience. Only a couple of rapids on this trip. That being said, Wild West Rafting is a well-run and organized outfit. Our guide Hayden was super-nice and engaging. Don’t let his deadpan demeanor fool you! All in all it was a fun and relaxing float. Would definitely float with Wild West again and recommend to friends.
