What To Expect

Mohave Desert

After pick up, drive through the scenic Mojave Desert as you learn the history of the surrounding areas. Fly through the Grand Canyon in a helicopter for 60 minutes of total air time then land at the bottom of the Canyon for a 30 minute champagne landing.

Bullets and Burgers

Shoot the outdoor machine gun package of your choice at our desert storm inspired military bunkers.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

(OPTIONAL) Ride 3 hours through the picturesque Lake Mead National Park Recreation Area to the Colorado River.

For starters. This is very low stress. Pick up from motel, delivered to chopper, flown into the grand canyon for sightseeing this magnificent place with nibblies and champers. Flown to the last stop for a monster truck madness ride then atv or quads ride into the colarado river with a shoot em up before a cool beer with lunch. I would recommend this to anyone just wanting to tick a few boxes all in one day. The staff were very caring understanding and proffessional in all aspects of the day ensuring that we had the best time possible. Basic firearm training was excellent as our guide was no cowboy and knew exactly which weapons would be suitable for each person. This is a five star trip !

Tour was not as described on website. "Private luxury vehicle" is in fact a share shuttled. Our tour did not include a flight over Hoover dam as described on website. We paid for a helicopter trip from the Las Vegas strip but this never happened and the day actually involved a 2 hour plus drive there and back. Prepaid for a monster truck ride ($50) but the day ran so much behind schedule from the get go that the truck was back in the hanger, also resulting in "lunch" not being had till after 5pm. The rest of the group were waiting to leave as they didn't do the shooting (the shooting was also very rushed). Even the bathroom was closed so we couldn't go to the toilet!! We have sent an email to bullets and burgers but are yet to receive a refund for our non existent monster truck ride! Sort it out bullets and burgers!

I booked the helicopter tour/polaris razor drive through lake mead park/shooting package that offered a burger lunch at The Last Stop in Arizona. We were upgraded to the sunrise package for free. Our limo was late, we had to be grouped with other people who were disputing extra charges for something they didn't get to experience. Needless to say, it was approaching 8am before we got to fly. So from what we were told, Bullets and Burgers, Las Vegast ATV's are owned by the same owner. They contract with Sundance Helicopters for the tour. Sundance helicopters has no control over what people are promised over the phone or on the strip when booking with these vendors, so please do your homework on what is truly offered. Sundance Helicopter Tours, the company itself, deserves a good review. Very professional and experienced pilots, kept the tour going with adding additional knowledge and history during the tour. Just know that there are helicopters that fit 6 people or 8 people, so if you're a party of 2 or 3, you might have to wait for additional guests to fly with depending on the weights. Herb and the guys who ran the ATV tour were awesome folks, and deserve a really good review. We got to drive through Lake Mead park, had some to stop by the lake to take a dip, and ride back. They provided enough water for everyone to stay hydrated. The ranges masters for the shooting portion were really funny but still knowledgeable and professional. However, you are stuck with a group so if you didn't get the same packages then you might have to wait around. Plus it was really hot being outdoors. We had the bronze package and other people in our tour had a package above ours. They had a big party so we had to wait until everyone ran through their packages before moving on. We didn't eat until later so the burgers tasted really good. So we had to deal with a lot of minor issues, but still had fun over all. I think next time I book a helicopter tour directly through a helicopter company, book an ATV tour separately, and opt for an indoor range that keeps you cool while popping off some rounds.
