We did this on our last day in Las Vegas and had booked from back in Australia about a month before. We found the booking process easy and great communication via email.
Pick up on day was prompt, our guide, Johnny was a wealth of knowledge, and easy to talk to.
We stopped along the way briefly for Hoover dam which was great and on to the last stop gas station to where we got to ride in a giant monster truck which we did t realise was part of our tour!
From there we got hear for ATV (quad bikes) and got in another van and taken to location where we met two other guys, I can't remember their names off hand but they too were fantastic to deal with.
The ATV trail went to the Colorado river where the view was great and option for swimming.
In my opinion, the ATV trail was a bit too long for our liking. Would have liked to take about a quarter of the ride off. Dont get me wrong, it's great but very dusty and hot.
Burgers back at the gas station / roadhouse were great.
We then went shooting. Was it awesome... Yes! But worth a mention, we were he only two on our group of 13 that did the shooting option. We booked this largely because we assumed we would be the only two who wouldn't have done it and would be standing on sidelines wishing we had! That being said, as quick as it was, was pretty damn cool if you like that kinda stuff. Be warned, the shooting option added a hefty price tag to our tour!
We then were split from our group, as we were doing the helicopter in to the Grand Canyon, the rest of our group wasn't, so we were left with another group at the helipad.
The trip in to Canyon by helicopter was worth every cent and if this is all we did the whole day, I would've been happy. The natural beauty was overwhelming and the pilot great. It was a Sundance helicopter.
We had to wait for our group then to eat before we could get back in van and head nack to Vegas. This made a longer day for us and we were the last drop off and arrived back at treasure island hotel at 7pm approx. our driver home was also awesome, it appears we were left with a Sundance tour group, I don't remember his name but he was friendly.
All in all, a great day. Personally, we wouldn't do the ATV again as t made a huge day. Tour for two to do all this was expensive ($1600 approx.) if you don't do guns it will be cheaper.
If you do one thing and one only- do a chopper in to the canyon. It brought tears of joy for me.
The only con was it seems seperate your companies all contract to bullets and burgers to create Jess pacakages which is why you are probably also paying premium. It was clear the driver on way home was throwing in to driving that day and communication wasnt great with who should and shouldn't be on bus- 100% not his fault- only doing what he had been told and he worked overtime just to get us home safe.
Johnny, ATV guys, pilot (rusty I think?), shooting guy, cat in the last stop and our driver home, thanks from the two Aussies on 14th May, u guys made this experience great, thank you
