Our first stop on Bainbridge Island is the beautifully manicured estate of the wealthy Bloedel family. If you want a tour that includes meeting new people either single adults, couples or friends, then this is a tour for you. Our host Daniel was very knowledgable respectful, funny and kind. He was punctual and greeted us in a very warm way, ensuring we were comfortable in his vehicle. We had another nice couple join in on the day. The itinerary was filled with island beauty on Bainbridge Island after a nice ferry ride across the sound. He was fully prepared with pastries, coffee, tea, water etc.. to make our trip as pleasant as possible. Daniel was happy to answer any questions we had about the island history, inhabitants past and present. The tour was carefully planned to enhance our day. We had time to reflect on historical events that included information on local Indian tribes that once inhabited these islands and most recent in some of the lifetimes of family perhaps grandparents of the 20th century who were around during WWII. The Japanese Memorial on the island is a good reminder and reflection of islanders affected. A must see. Daniel took us to have a wonderful lunch in town and we were able to talk and get to know each other after which was followed by a great walk in the Bloedel Reserve which was truly amazing to see. The local wineries were amazing. This tour was carefully choreographed to truly share what Yonder Sky is all about. Showing us the natural, historical, and beauty of the land and its people. Thank you to both Daniel and Matt for your hospitality and I can't wait to return to do the rest of your tours. Best day ever. Sunday, September 16, 2018 Helene Anda

I was skeptical of doing a "tour" but, after reading some of these reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! My partner and I spent the day on Bainbridge Island and felt like locals, thanks to Matt & Daniel's insider knowledge. It was a perfect mix of nature and culture, starting with Bloedel Reserve and ending with some fantastic wine tasting. The food and Mercedes van upped the experience, and the small group setting made it feel special (no orange flags and corralling here!). We come to the Seattle area often and it's now on our list to experience every one of Yonder Sky's tours!
