The snorkeling was fine. But the guy who runs the business was rude and very short when he spoke to me.

My family of four rented snorkeling equipment and went to La Jolla Cove. It was great to be nice and warm in the wetsuit and get really close to a sea lion. Thanks for the great service and equipment!

I am visiting from Northern Cali and found a Groupon deal. Since I have never been snorkeling I thought it was a good chance to give it a try without wasting a ton of money if I didn't like it. SOOOO worth it!! My friend and I were both greeted within a few minutes of us being there. The young guy who checked us in got us fitted with flippers and suits in just a few moments and showed us the hot spots to go. Once we made our way to the beach (which was a bit smelly but it IS the Ocean soooo, to be expected) we were in the water in no time flipping around and looking at fish. There were quite a few sea lions in the area and the water was a bit rough so we didn't get a chance to go into the caves. I will absolutely recommend this to any of my friends coming to the area and will 100% be coming back on my next trip to So Cal.
