Full-Day Tour: Concord Waterfall, Chocolate Factory, Rum Distillery, Grand Etang

Overview
This remarkable full-day tour, showing you the very best of Grenada in a day. See St. George's, the prettiest capital town in the Caribbean. Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. The tour would not be complete without a visit to Grenada's interior and largest national park, to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest.

Our driver, Michael was amazing. My husband and I have traveled to other islands and prefer to explore on our own. Since Grenada is larger and has less marked roads we felt it easier to go with an experienced guide. When I searched for one Henry Tours was the 1st to come up. We chose it based on all of the Excellent reviews. We experienced it firsthand. Michael was knowledgeable about the history of Grenada, an EXCELLENT driver and all around a pleasure to spend the day with. I highly recommend this tour to see the island (which has many more parts than we had imagined) and to experience a variety of activities. My husband was worried about the length of the tour but everything was nicely planned and we never felt rushed.

An intense day, you get to see so much of the beautiful island, a lot more than I expected. Michael is a legend - I wonder where he gets all the energy from. He was witty, authentic, approachable and knew everything about the island. And he's a skilled driver... Jesus, you dont want to do these narrow roads with all the crazy drivers by yourself. Enjoyed the day a lot, mainly because of Michael.

Wowza! What an incredible day this was. We got far more on this excursion then what was expected. Pick up was a breeze, and in typical Grenadian fashion we picked up a few friends along the way to be dropped off further up the route before picking up others for the tour. We did the tour backwards per a request from one of the other members of our group, so we finished at the waterfall instead of starting there. Both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by all the little things not mentioned - the stop at the nutmeg processing factory, history tidbits along the way and an almost complete circling of the island. We had no idea when I booked that we were having lunch in Sauteurs are this perfect little cafe overlooking the atlantic ocean. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that wants a taste of the island but doesn't have the time to do it by bus (which is doable)
